The 2019 VGMA Awards is finally over and now we know who won what at the award show which also marked the 20th anniversary since the award scheme was introduced.
The show started on a good note, but along the line, things got pretty ‘scary’ when Stonebwoy was announced as the winner of the Reggae/Dancehall artiste of the year. You can read all about that drama here.
The night saw performances from several artistes including the likes of Medikal, King Promise, Amakye Dede, Kuami Eugene, Burna Boy, Efya, Sarkodie, King Promise, etc.
The organisers of the VGMA decided not to announce the winner for Artiste of the year and also Vodafone Most popular song of the year because of that incident at the show.
