Young rapper and Afrobeats/Afropop artiste Kofi Jamar has expressed his deepest feelings and gratitude for his nominations in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The young artiste who is part of the Leaders of the New School in the music industry expressed how happy he is to receive 7 nominations from the VGMA.
He narrated yesterday on HitzFM Day break hits Show that he feels these nominations comes as a way of the Ghanaian people accepting him and his music and also bring him to the limelight.
Kofi Jamar in a recent post on Facebook wrote that he does not care if he does bag any award from VGMA but he know his people and fan base are proud of him for how far he has come with his music.
“7 nominations #VGMA22 The Hardway I dont really care if i win nothing.My people are already proud❤????????” he wrote.
Kofi Jamar is well known for his hit song “3korso” featuring Y Pee and Yaw Tog and “Mi Dey Up remix” featuring Stonebwoy . Also he was featured on Shatta Wale’s Kumerica Invasion Project,Ahodwo Las Vegas and any others including his “Truth” EP.
