Opoku Ware SHS over the years have been known for their excellent performance and consistency in the National Science and Maths Quiz and has done it again this year.
The National Science and Maths Quiz which adds up to the learning and training of students in the field of Science has once again given a chance to these young ones and their schools.
In the Ashanti Regional Championship second contest, schools like Opoku Ware Senior High School,T.I Ahmadiya SHS, Adu Gyamfi SHS and Juaso SHS had to battle it out to the next round.
After various spectacular performance from the various schools through out the contest, Opoku Ware was in a comfortable lead with twenty-four(24) points in the first round and sixty-seven(67) points at the end of the contest as winner.
Adu Gyamfi SHS emerged second with thirty-eight(38)points, T.I Amass coming third with twenty-five (25) points and Juaso SHS placing last with points twenty-two(22) points.
