Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known in the showbiz industry as Shatta Wale has said he doesn’t want to be part of the Ghana Music Awards Scheme going forward.
The self acclaimed dance hall king took to his personal Instagram account to make the declaration.
He wrote “Upon sober reflections of events in recent times and having made broader consultations, I wish to announce that I will not be part of the Ghana Music Awards scheme going forward. God bless!”
Shatta Wale and his arch rival Stonebwoy brawl chaos nearly marred the VGMA 20 leading to Stonebwoy pulling a gun after Shatta Wale tried mounting the stage when Stonebwoy was adjudged the Best Dancehall Artiste of the year in this year’s VGMA.
